The technology of iphone was transformed in 2007, but it was the app store that changed our lives later on. From picking a restaurant to sharing dinner posts on Instagram, hiring a cab at home, the world has an insatiable appetite for new and better apps. Apple is all set to announce its next iphone featuring one of the biggest software upgrades named ARKit.

The upgrade is something that could take augmented reality to the mainstream. In addition to this, iPhone 8 will comprise of other interesting features like better cameras, wireless charging, facial recognition, and edge-to-edge display and – for the first time – no home button and so forth.

It is unveiled that in a single OS update, Apple will put a wave of new AR apps in millions of hands. This gives a fair chance to the company to change day to day lives of their end users. However, it has been more than a decade since the first release of iPhone. And it is a safe bet to say that it leapfrogged far beyond the competition and launched the mobile revolution.

If we look at the current scenario, there are around four million on-demand workers and the number will double up in the upcoming years.

Change in the advertising industry
Fortunately or unfortunately, the internet is not only supplanting traditional advertising platforms like TV for the most ad spending worldwide but the entire industry itself is in transition. Mobile advertising spending is expected to surpass desktop this year.
